Ever wondered, what does my birthday reveal about my personality? The answer to this question is contained in the study of Numerology. Numerology was an accepted part of ancient mathematics and revolves around the study of numbers, with each number from 0 to 9 representing a different personality trait based on its association. If you want to skip this definition and go straight to formula that will answer what does my birthday reveal about my personality, scroll down to the birth path calculation below.
Using rudimentary mathematics you can find out what your birth path numbers (often referred to as life path numbers) are according to numbers that make up your date of birth. Each birth path contains primary and secondary influences. Your primary birth path comes from the actual day of your birth. Your secondary birth path is derived from the sum of the month, day, and year contained in your birth date.
An example of a birth path calculation to answer the question; what does my birthday reveal about my personality, is given below:
Using the date of birth, November 14, 1983 we can calculate the primary and secondary birth path numbers:
Month: 11
Day: 14 (1+4 = 5) Remember 5 is the primary birth path number because it is the actual day of your birth.
Year: 1983 (1+9+8+3 = 21 and then you add these, 2+1 = 3)
Month + Day (using the value calculated above) + Year (using the value calculated above) = (11+5+3 = 19, and if add these two numbers together you get 10 (1+9 = 10)
Now you would have to add them together one more time to reduce this number to a single digit (1 thru 9) or to one of the Master Numbers (11 or 22). In this example, 10 is further reduced to: 1+0 = 1, and 1 is the secondary birth path number. This last step is not always necessary, but is needed in this example to reduce this to a single number.
Note: The numbers 11 and 22 are master numbers and are not summed together. Simple numbers are 1 thru 9, and master numbers are 11(not 1+1 to = 2) and 22 (not 2 + 2 to = 4).
Simple numbers and master numbers are associated with the following personality traits:
Number 1 = One who has a need for personal attainment or an Achiever.
Number 2 = One who clearly sees the full spectrum of viewpoints in any argument or situation, Idealist.
Number 3 = Artist, one that emphasizes expression, sociability, and creativity.
Number 4 = The most trustworthy, practical, and down-to-earth of individuals, a Pragmatist.
Number 5 = An Opportunist, one of those people who is always striving to find answers to the many questions that life poses.
Number 6 = A Caregiver, you feel a strong sense of responsibility, are idealistic and need to feel useful to be happy.
Number 7 = A Seeker, one with a peaceful and affectionate soul.
Number 8 = Affluent, one who is very independent, forceful and competitive.

Number 22 = A Global Thinker, the most powerful of all the Life Path numbers. This individual can achieve enormous success, prestige, and fame if they have the desire and willingness to achieve it.
